About the Event


Join us for our second workshop blending rope-assisted movement and traditional yoga flow. This practice-in-development supports a deepened mental and physical connection to your body, movement, and your partner. This workshop is ideal for rope and yoga beginners alike.


When: August 17, 12-2 pm

Where: Prism Arts, 1021 Hamilton St., Philadelphia, PA 19123

Cost: $20/pp; $30/pair; notaflof (no one turned away for lack of funds)

Register for Event: Registration can be made by submitting payment to Olivia on Venmo @Devin-Olivia. Provide the name and date of event in payment comment.


What to Expect


Rope 101: We will review safety basics for rope and a single column tie.


Partnered Flow: We will move through a partnered rope-assisted flow twice, giving each person an opportunity to top and bottom.


Chat and Connect: Share your thoughts, feedback, questions, concerns, and ideas with us! This is a practice-in-progress and we embrace every opportunity to “workshop the workshop.”

What to Bring

  • Yoga mat and rope. 4 Shorties are recommended. Ties will be single column on each wrist and ankle. Limited rope and mats will be available for shared use.

  • Comfortable clothing to stretch and move.

  • Partner recommended- if you don’t have one we’ll find someone to pair you up with the day of!

  • Water

Meet the Team

Mariah is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She combines her yoga practice and love of rope for a sensory experience connecting body and mind.


Sam has practiced rope since 2021 and yoga since 1995. He brings a playful and exploratory approach to integrating rope with his yoga practice.


Olivia is a cuddle therapist and body worker integrating a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to somatic-based healing practices. She has practiced yoga for 13 years and started with rope in 2024. Her approach facilitates a deeper level of presence and connection with the body.
