I wasn't sure what to expect when I launched this business, only that it would be something exciting, joyful, and maybe a little challenging. I've pivoted a lot as my business has grown over the last six months, with a general strategy of "taking things as they come." This has included learning to vet new clients, connecting with other body and energy workers, dipping into community and event organizing, and using my professional and educational background to support mutual aid and youth outreach work in my area. I also accepted a full-time position at a local university!
I'm once again making adjustments to accommodate the growth and opportunities entering my life, and deciding where to focus my efforts. With that in mind, Sacred Touch has several announcements!
Updates
New Clients
I am continuing to accept a limited number of new clients for one-on-one work. I am not accepting cis male clients at this time. While this is a large part of my current client population, it has been a continuous challenge for clients in this group to respect the consent agreement. Consent is the foundation of my work and is critical for the safety of myself and my clients. Continued work with a population that has demonstrated an inability to understand and practice consent places myself, my business, and my community at risk.

Group and Community Events
While I am accepting new one-on-one clients, the bulk of my direct service will focus on group and community events. This allows me to support a larger number of people and provide lower cost services. It's also a great opportunity for clients to connect with each other and become part of a bigger community of feelers and healers. Among the events to look forward to are Shibari-Yoga workshops, matchmaking socials, sapphic cuddle jams, and moon circles. Events will be announced on my website, Instagram, and FetLife.
Community Service and Organizing
In addition to my business goals, I've also committed to community service work. I run a grassroots youth outreach initiative from my home. I focus on community building, education, workforce readiness, mental health, and relationship skills with teens and young adults. As the kids in my home get older, the work they require of me also grows. I'm well positioned to respond to their emerging needs and am taking advantage of this unique opportunity to support the next generation of adults.
I also accepted a position as a board member and the Community Relations Coordinator with the Atlantic County Queer Alliance (ACQA). This role allows me to continue my passion in coalition and community power building work, which is more critical now than ever before.
Artistic and Creative Work
My most recent season of unemployment presented the opportunity to explore my creative interests more deeply. I modeled for erotic art, attended a 5-week writing workshop led by a curandera, bedazzled and embroidered corsets, handcrafted candles, and launched a Substack (titled Words of Whimsy and Wonder!). I learned I not only love artistic and creative expression, but my spirit demands it. Stepping back from one-on-one work gives me the chance to turn that energy inward. To focus on myself. To create the room and freedom I need to connect with and express my whole self.
